Lödige Middle East

Lödige Middle East is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lödige Industries and brings the strength of the Lödige Group to Middle East with local focus on its clients’ needs. Having been awarded the Cargo terminal project for Qatar Airways Hamed International Airport in 2006, Lödige established a Middle East regional office to deliver Automated systems projects and provide maintenance and operation support post handover.

Long-term maintenance of the facilities are contracted to provide residential engineering support for both, planned and corrective maintenance, ensuring maximum system availability.

 

Subsequent projects awarded include:

Aircraft maintenance hangar spare parts storage system (HIA Qatar).
Automated consignment system Cargo terminal (HIA Qatar).
Duty free warehouse & In-flight warehouse MHS & MHE (HIA Qatar).

 

Lödiges' products are not limited to Automated Storage Solutions, we have also been awarded machine only solutions, some examples below:

Doha convention centre Freight elevators (Dafna Qatar).
Doha National museum Freight elevators, Disabled lifts & Scissor platforms (Al Salata Qatar).
Royal Opera House, Dock lifts & Disabled lifts (Muscat Oman)

In 2011 Lödige launched “Facilities Operations Concept” whereby key strategic Operational Personnel are deployed within the clients facility to ensure that the Automated Solution delivers the design intent. The individuals deployed on medium term contract basis are able to transfer to the client full time employment thereafter.

Qatar Aviation Services currently has over 30 Lödige Operations staff integrated within the organisation.

Our current organisation consists of 114 staff across; Project Teams, Operations Personnel, Maintenance, Installation, Sales & Administration.
